We are a small company by design. The person who answers your email or your call is the person who plans your route. Being small is what allows us to say yes to a detour, to wait for the light, and to change a plan on the morning it happens. There is no standard version of what we do: the route, the timing, the stops and what we pack are built around the guest and the weather.
What we believe
Bespoke
No preset itineraries. Every service is designed around one guest, one route, one day.
Attentive
Hot chocolate for the children. A stop to stretch legs. A detour to the shop we have just passed, because someone said they liked the look of it. The service consists of the small things.
Discreet
Some guests want the window and their own thoughts, and a long drive becomes the quiet part of a busy itinerary. Others want to know what they are looking at, the wildlife, the villages, the way people live out here. We take our cue from you, and we know when not to fill the silence.
Local
Our chauffeurs live here. They drive these roads through every season and know the country they are crossing.
Questions we are often asked
Which accommodations do you collect from?
Tell us where your clients are staying and we will confirm whether we collect from there.
Can you drive between Treehotel and ICEHOTEL?
Yes. Harads to Kiruna is one of our regular routes, and we drive it in both directions. Arctic Bath is also in Harads, and we collect from and deliver to both.
Do you drive into Norway and Finland?
Yes. Many of our routes cross a border, and one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you the whole way.
Do you collect from Luleå Airport?
Yes. Luleå Airport is our home hub. We meet scheduled arrivals and private jet arrivals there.
How long does a transfer take?
It depends entirely on where you start and where you finish. Some transfers are two or three hours. Others run to seven or nine. Stops along the way, at a viewpoint, an artisan's workshop or a shop worth looking in, are part of the day rather than a delay. We confirm the timings when we quote.
What will we travel in?
A private premium vehicle for your party alone, a Mercedes V-Class or similar.
Are your chauffeurs experienced in winter conditions?
Our chauffeurs live in the Arctic and drive in it all year. They know how these roads behave in every condition, and just as importantly they know when conditions have turned and it is better to wait. The cars carry proper safety equipment for the weather and for whatever the road throws up. Before every drive we go through what to expect, the conditions and the timings, so that nobody sets off uncertain.
How much luggage can you carry?
Every vehicle has a limit, and how much room you have depends on the size of your party. We confirm this with you before you travel, so there are no surprises at the door. If you are carrying more than usual, tell us in advance and we will arrange for it.
Can we stop along the way?
Yes. A homemade lunch, a restaurant stop, a scenic detour or time for photographs are all possible. We arrange these in advance as part of the plan, so tell us what you have in mind while we are building the journey.
Can you accommodate young children?
Yes. Tell us the ages of the children when you enquire, so we can arrange the right safety measures for the journey. Then tell us what makes them comfortable on a long drive, whether that is hot chocolate, their favourite cookies or a stop at a certain time, and we will have it ready.
Are you affiliated with the accommodations you drive to?
No. We are an independent chauffeur service. We are not affiliated with any of the properties we name unless expressly stated.
How do we book?
By email or telephone. Tell us your route and your choice of hotels and we will prepare a quote for the transfers.
